Patch Notes: Bug fixes from the Discord (October 9)

Snow

With Snowless Swamps and Jungles switched on, swamps and jungles no longer get deep snow on the ground or falling snow in winter.
Deserts no longer get snow drifting in from nearby snowy regions, and the edge of the desert next to a snowy area stays bare. Snow storms that reach the desert now fall as rain.

You can now decorate the ground right outside your own front door. Many desert houses are L-shaped or have an outside stair, and the open ground in front of their doors counted as "inside your house". Spots under your own roof or eaves still count as the house.

Opening the Overworld no longer freezes the game: nearby dungeon models now load one per frame once the view has finished rising.
Long journeys no longer slowly use up video memory. The dungeon models' textures are released when you leave them behind.
Deep snow no longer does its work while the Overworld is open, since none of it is shown there.
Saving is faster in snowy areas: the snow-track data is only recompressed when it has changed. Online, this removes a hitch that happened every two minutes.

Fixed a crash ("Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'velocity')") when another player's ship list changed while you stood on one of their ships.

When a member of your family dies for good, their houses pass to whoever carries the line on - door, bed, chests and furniture as they left them.
Online, a fallen character's home moves to their heir, cupboards included.
If your heir already owns a house in that region, the inherited one waits until they sell theirs.
