Patch Notes: Field fixes and quest abandoning
New: abandon and reclaim any quest
- Every quest can now be abandoned and later reclaimed. You'll find this in the pause menu's Quests tab.
- Abandon asks you to click twice to confirm.
- Reclaim takes one click and works from the new Abandoned section.
- An abandoned quest is set aside, not lost:
- its timer stops;
- its items, topics and journal are kept;
- its dungeon or building stays reserved for it.
- When you reclaim a quest, it picks up where you left it, and the days it spent abandoned don't count against its deadline.
- Abandoning a quest frees its quest-giver, so the guild offers you work again.
- The game's built-in quests (the main quest's core, the curse and the tutorial) and sea raids can't be abandoned.
- A reclaimed quest doesn't rejoin your party's shared progress. Share it again.
Fixes
- Medium dungeons no longer repeat the same layout block twice. Quests already inside a changed dungeon move their targets to match.
- Lord K'avar in Privateer's Hold: random quests no longer send you into main-story dungeons. Quests that were already stuck there are moved to a proper dungeon.
- Enduring and Bloodlines characters can marry again. Propose marriage was greyed out for every character who should have been allowed to wed.
- Mercantile and Personality matter again when selling online. Better skills now get a better price, still within the online limit of half the shop's price.
- Fast travel no longer drops you inside a mountain. A landing inside rock now puts you on the nearest open ground.
- Enhanced Water can be switched off online. The toggle was locked while playing online.
Removed
- The bank's ship loan has been removed. Ships are bought outright again. A ship you already bought on credit is unaffected.
What's Changed
