Patch Notes: Oblivion Gates - The Court, Less in the Way
The Warden's court gets out of your way, and tells you who carried the fight.
A damage chart when he falls
- When the Warden falls, a damage chart ranks everyone in the fight by the damage they dealt. It shows on the right side of the screen for a minute and fades out.
- Each row shows your rank, name and level, a bar of your damage next to the top fighter's, the number, your share of the court's total, the hits you landed on him and your biggest one, the damage you put into the Crystals of Oblivion, and how many times you fell.
- Your own row is outlined and marked "(you)". In a big court the top ten are listed, and if you're further down your own row shows underneath at your rank, with the rest counted.
- The numbers come from the server's own count of the fight, the same count that decides who earns a receipt.
Out of your way
- The Warden's Marks card no longer covers the middle of the screen when you step into the court. It sits low on the right, clear of your crosshair, and still fades after a few seconds.
- The phase name is gone from under his health bar. The marks on the bar still show where each phase turns, and each turn is still announced when it happens. The fighter count, the Reckoning countdown and Dagon's Wrath countdown stay.
His spoils
- Walking over a piece of loot no longer picks it up. Look at a piece and press activate to take it, like any loot pile, so crossing the court for the piece you want doesn't sweep up the rest. Anything you leave on the floor still goes into your pack when you leave the court.
Reload the game after the update to see the damage chart (the server needs this version to send it).
