Patch Notes: Aimed Repair Kits
Choose what a repair kit mends
Using a Repair Kit or a Field Repair Kit from your inventory now asks which piece to mend whenever more than one piece could use it. You no longer have to drop your loot to get a kit onto the sword you care about.
- Classic inventory: a list pops up with each weapon or armour piece and how worn it is, for example
Iron Longsword 42% (worn). Double-click a row or pick it with the arrow keys and Enter. Click outside the list to keep the kit. - Enhanced inventory: a "Mend which?" window lists the same pieces. Click one to mend it, or press Keep (or Escape) to keep the kit.
- The pieces you're wearing come first, then the rest of your pack, each group most worn first.
(worn)marks the ones you have on. - If only one piece needs mending, the kit mends it straight away, the same as before.
Smarter mending from the hotbar
A kit used from a hotbar or quickslot can't ask, so it now mends what you're wearing first, then the pack, instead of whatever happened to be most worn.
Fixes
- Kits no longer mend arrows. Arrows always counted as the most worn weapon, so Field Repair Kits and Iron Repair Kits were spent on the quiver.
- A kit used from a corpse or a chest now mends your own gear, not the other items in that pile.
