Patch Notes: The Steel Brigandine
Morrowind models
- The Steel Brigandine has its own look. With Roleplay & Realism: Items on, a Brigandine Jerkin made of steel is now drawn as a red, riveted, knee-length brigandine with a belt and front clasps, instead of Morrowind's plain steel cuirass. It is the second model made for this port alone, after the Dwarven Thunderlock.
- It shows on your character in third person, on other players, and on the paper doll. As with any cuirass, first person shows only your arms.
- The body of the brigandine moves with your chest and the skirt moves with your hips, so the hem swings with your stride.
- Brigandine Jerkins of every other material, and the classic Steel Cuirass, look as they did before.
- If you keep your own Morrowind files, a mesh or texture of the same name in your Data Files still replaces this one, as it does for any Morrowind model.
Known issues
- The skirt does not bend, so a thigh can pass through it in mid-stride.
- On the ground and in your pack's icons, the jerkin still shows the steel cuirass.
