Patch Notes: Mercantile past 100, and on the road
Shops (online)
- Selling never costs you gold. Enchantments and affixes can lift Mercantile past 100, and past it a shop's offer kept falling, until selling took gold from your purse. Online, shops now count any Mercantile or Personality past 100 as 100: a sale pays what it pays at 100, and never less.
- Nothing is free past 100 either. Far past 100, a shop sold its goods for a gold apiece, and rooms, cures and spells paid you to take them. Online they now cost what they cost a character at 100.
- Mercantile and Personality up to 100 haggle exactly as before, and offline nothing has changed.
Travel
- Travel Options' fare scaling counts your Mercantile. With the mod's inn or ship fare scaling set above 1, every scaled fare was priced as if you had no Mercantile at all. A good haggler now pays less, as the mod intends, and enchantments that raise Mercantile count too.
