Patch Notes: Dragon rider titles
New titles
- A player who tames a brass Dwarven Dragon gets the Wyrm Rider title.
- A player who tames an Aetherbright gets the Aether Rider title.
- The first player to tame each dragon gets First Wyrm Rider or First Aether Rider.
- Each title shows on a metal name plate above your name, on your profile and in the wardrobe.
Patch Notes: Dodge and a faster rise in PvP
PvP
- A weapon hit or an arrow from a player can now miss you. Your Dodging skill gives up to 25% chance.
- If you are a higher level than the attacker, you get 2% more chance for each level, up to 20%.
- The total chance is 40% at most. Spells always hit.
Death
- When you die online, push Enter to rise at once.
- If you do not push a key, you rise after 10 seconds. This is true in PvE and PvP.
Patch Notes: Morrowind hands, bow and spells
Bow
With the Morrowind hands, the bow now shoots as fast as with the classic hands. The draw animation is faster to agree with the shot.
Spells
With the Morrowind hands, the cast animation now ends when the classic hands end. You can attack sooner after a spell.
Patch Notes: Desktop app updates
Updates in the desktop app
When a new version is ready in the desktop app, the game tells you in chat. After one minute, the game saves your character. Then the app closes, updates and opens again on the new version. Before this change, the app only loaded the same version again.
The Mac app and the Windows portable app now also update themselves. You do not download a new version by hand.
Patch Notes: Dragon view
Dragon
- You can use the mouse wheel to go to third person when you ride a dragon. You see your dragon and its rider.
- The dragon saddle does not show over the chat, the menus or other panels.
Patch Notes: Carry weight
Fixes
You can no longer loot past your carry limit in online areas. When an item does not fit, the game shows "You cannot carry any more."
Patch Notes: Names in the PvP zone
Names
In the PvP zone, you can now see the name of each player over the head.
A player who is concealed or invisible shows the skull and the health bar, but not the name.
Patch Notes: Weapon glow for hand to hand
Aura Armory on bare fists
Your Aura Armory weapon piece now glows on your bare fists. Before, only a weapon or Hand Wraps showed it. Other players also see the glow on your fists.
In the third-person view, the glow on your fists and your Hand Wraps stays on when you put your weapon away.
Hand Wraps glow only when you wear an Aura Armory weapon piece. An enchantment on the wraps does not make them glow.
Staff glow command
Staff can set the glow of the weapon or Hand Wraps in their hands with /glow. The colors are fire, frost, shock, arcane, crimson, brand and edge. Type /glow off to remove it.
