Patch Notes: The Aura Armory

New: the Aura Armory

The Aura Armory puts light and fire on the parts of your body. Your sprite does not change.

There are five slots: Head, Torso, Arms, Legs and Weapon. You can put one piece in each slot, and any piece can go with any other piece. Your aura stays as it is.

How to get a piece

The Dagonfire pieces are at the Sigil Broker. Each piece costs 75 Deadlands Embers. You get embers when you help close Dagon's Breach.

The Eternal pieces are in the shop, in a new Aura Armory section. Each piece costs $6. The Eternal Set gives you all five pieces for $20. The shop shows each piece and the set before you buy them. A weapon piece shows on a sword.

How to wear a piece

Open your profile. In the Character section, select a slot, then select a piece. Select the piece again to remove it.

At the Sigil Broker, select Wear on a Dagonfire piece. In the shop, select Wear on The Eternal Set to wear all five pieces.

The Collections page has a new Aura Armory part. It shows all pieces, the pieces that you have, and how to get each piece.

Your pieces are on your account, so all of your characters can wear them. Other players see a change immediately.

The pieces

The Crown of the Burning Door has a door of white fire at the front. The Ember Heart beats, and fire moves along its veins. The Ashbound Bracers are a chain of hot iron.

The Eternal Sigil is a dragon of light that bites its tail. The Eternal Halo and the Eternal Armlets have runes on them. The Eternal Greaves have lines of light.

The weapon slot

A weapon piece shows on each weapon in your hands. When you hold two weapons, both weapons show it. An element on your weapon shows first.

The pieces show on Morrowind bodies and on sprite bodies. Other players see your pieces on your Morrowind body as you move.

Your character on your profile

Your profile has a new Character section. It shows your character with your aura, your Aura Armory pieces, and your title and glyphs above your head.

The slots are on the two sides of your character: Head, Torso, Arms, Legs, Over the head, Weapon, Portrait and Aura. Select a slot to see its choices.

Point to a choice to see it on your character. Select the choice to wear it.

You can try on a piece that you do not have. The text below the choices tells you how to get the piece.

When you pause the game in a Morrowind body, select Morrowind or Sprite to change the body that you see.

More detail on the auras

Eight auras have more detail.

Dagon's Fire has cracks of fire in the stone in its ring. Sparks go up from the flames, and the flames sometimes go higher.

The Golden Radiance has two ribbons of light that turn around its column. A sun with twelve points is below your feet.

The Maelstrom has light that moves on the bottom of the water. A thin ring of foam is around its center.

Beaconlight sends a beam of light up from each beacon when the beacon lights.

The Burning Stair has cracks of fire in its steps. Small flames come up from the edge of each step.

Eternal has the mark of the Origin and a ring of fire below your feet.

Witchfire has a star with seven points between its candles. Each candle has a flame.

The Crystal Resonance has a small square above each column. The square stays at the top for a short time, then it falls. On each beat, a ring of squares moves out from your feet.

Fixes

The pieces on the arms and the legs now stay on the arms and the legs of all sprites.

When a sprite holds a sword or a mace to the side, the pieces now stay on the body.

On three sprites with a staff, a head piece was above the head. This problem is fixed.

The names of other players are now above their head pieces.

On the female Acrobat, cloak and wing auras now stay on the shoulders when you see her from an angle.

On a phone, the account window now fills the screen.

Settings

Others' Aura Armory is a new setting in Features. Select All, Near or None to show fewer pieces of other players. Your own pieces always show.

Patch Notes: Held Enchantments, Weapon Change and the Witches' Festival

Cast When Held

An item with the Cast When Held enchantment now loses condition more slowly. It loses 1 point of condition each 3 minutes. Before, it lost 3 points each minute.

Weapon change

Outside the open PvP zone, a weapon change takes half the time. In Cyrodiil, on the open sea and in their dungeons, the time does not change.

Light spell

In first person, you do not see the candle of your Light spell. The light stays. Other players and the third-person view still show the candle.

The Witches' Festival

The Hearth Offering at a door has a new picture. It is now a carved pumpkin on a stool, below a lantern.
