Patch Notes: The Sky-Ketch

A Dwarven airship over Daggerfall

  • The Mzunthar, a Rourken sky-ketch of tonal brass, now crosses the Iliac Bay every ten hours. She is sighted an hour before she arrives, then keeps station over the fields east of Daggerfall for seven hours with her anchor-lift let down. Her arrival time moves round the clock from one voyage to the next. The first voyage arrives on 25 October at 00:00 UTC. Online only.
  • A raid for your party of up to eight. Each party boards its own ship. Fight through the Boarding Watch and the Gallery of Hammers. Carry aether cells by hand to feed the Starved Engine; a blow knocks a cell loose. Cross the Sailwalk over the open sky, then face the Tonal Warden on her bridge.
  • A new questline. Imrah Bel-Tavir, an antiquarian of Sentinel, wants to know what keeps the ship aloft. Two new books, The Ketch That Never Lands and Rourken Thunder.

Guns and shot

  • The Dwarven Thunderlock and the Dwarven Pistolet now drop only from the Ketchmaster's hold, along with a Gilded version of each: Volendrung's Echo and The Ketchmaster's Word. The hold pays each player one share per voyage.
  • Dwemer Pellets are no longer sold in shops. They are a rare find in loot, even with Loot rarity turned off, and every share of the Ketch's hold pays 20 to 40 of them.
  • Gilded drops are rarer everywhere: the Hourlock is 1 in 100, and the Dragonfire Oath and the Sunken Sovereign are 1 in 250 each.

Fixes

  • The Pistolet's forearm no longer cuts off at the edge of its picture.
