Patch Notes: The Dwarven Pistolet, as it was prototyped
First person
- The Dwarven Pistolet now runs the code of the prototype its feel was tuned in, whether you carry one pistol or a pair. A few differences remain on purpose: the room's camera shake, the room's light on the pistol, your own Weapon Widget switches, the holster and left-handed play.
- A pair fires the way it should. Your second pistol fires the moment you pull, even while the first is still mid-shot. It used to make you wait about half a second.
- Each shot belongs to the pistol that fired it: its own damage, its own off-hand terms and its own barrel, even when both pistols fire within a frame of each other.
- A reloading pistol holds still. It no longer bobs and sways while you walk.
- The pistol you fired last is drawn in front.
- One pistol on its own gets the same treatment: its own shot, its own reload dip and the clacks of its reload.
- The muzzle flash keeps its painted colours on the pistol itself.
- The room lights up on the frame the flash appears, from the side of the brighter flash.
Fixes
- Morrowind arms: a pair no longer loses shots. Each pull waits for the arm, the shot leaves on the arm's release, and the reload clacks after the bang.
- Reloads: a pistol's reload stays with that pistol. Moving it to your other hand no longer skips the reload.
- Thunderlock: switching to a Dwarven Pistolet for a moment no longer clears the Thunderlock's reload.
- Last Pellet: with one Pellet left, a pair fires one shot, not a second shot that makes a bang and fires nothing.
