Patch Notes: No more crash when interacting in festival towns
Witches' Festival
- Interacting in a town where a player has set out a Hearth Offering no longer crashes the game. The crash happened whatever you interacted with there: a body, a door or a person.
- In those towns the names under your crosshair show again, and Hearth Offerings work: take a Soul Cake from someone else's, or fill or take in your own.
Patch Notes: Field fixes from the bug-reports channel
Quests
- Questline letters no longer arrive in a heap. Each new questline's opening letter now waits until the last one has reached you, and an hour of your character's time after it.
- A quest giver placed in a Mages Guild hall no longer stands inside the guild's own quest-giver.
Towns and maps
- When a townsperson marks a building on your map, you can now see it from the world map too. In a town, the world map has a tab for the town's streets.
- On a crowded town map, a name with no room is drawn as a star. Pointing at the star shows the building's name, so a marked building always shows.
- Trees in towns no longer grow around fountains, wells and crates. A tree that stands close to one is drawn smaller.
Crafting and cooking
- Raw Fish in your Materials Bag can be cooked over a fire. The cooked fish goes into your pack.
- The joinery's carpenter, signboard and workbench all open the workbench with its craft buttons. Before, the carpenter and the signboard opened it with the Workbench marked as away.
- Putting your goods in the Stores no longer locks the buttons for a long time. Everything you put in at once is saved once, not once a material.
- Temper at the Anvil and Temper at the Loom are back on the Stores page.
At sea
- After a journey across the sea, your ship stops instead of rowing on by itself. This happened when you left the helm on oars, without full sails.
- Port towns along the coast that had no harbour now have one, including Daggerfall, Sentinel and Wayrest. A harbour can stand a little way from its town where the shore lies far out.
- Sailing from one port to another now counts at every port, so the Under Sail tutorial completes.
- You can't go below to your ship's cabin while enemies are nearby. Before, going below made pirates vanish.
