Patch Notes: HUD tiles, lantern slot, Monster Volume and a steadier Growth tab
HUD
- Two new tiles beside the Renown bar: Skills ready (left) counts the skills a rest or a journey would raise; Firmament stars (right) counts the stars and craft points you haven't placed yet. Click the stars to open the Firmament page. Both can be moved with Alt+U.
- Hover any buff, debuff, need or disease tile to see what it does, in the same card the inventory uses.
- The level strip no longer shows the "skills ready" message; the new tile does that job.
- Under DFO Grimoire, the level-up notes are now written in full, readable ink.
Inventory
- A new Lantern slot, after the Crystals. A lantern placed there hangs at your belt, is lit while it hangs, and goes out when you take it off.
Audio
- Monsters call 60% less often. The city watch and companions are unchanged.
- New Monster Volume setting (0-100%) under Audio. It controls monster calls, attack sounds and pain cries.
Quests
- Clicking an NPC that a quest is waiting on now shows the quest's message and reward right away. The talk window, guild or shop opens after them, instead of the quest words appearing only after you pressed Exit.
Growth tab
- The window no longer changes size when you switch pages. The page list always sits on the left, with a short description under each entry.
- The Level page opens on a card showing your level.
- Mastery bars are now thin red bars, the same height as the yellow ones.
Maps
- The World Map has a Players filter (Shown / Hidden). It shares its setting with the Overworld's Travellers switch.
Fixes
- The female hooded armour no longer floats over the shoulders, and the mace head is no longer pale and black.
What's Changed
- HUD tiles, lantern slot, Monster Volume, quest words first, hood fix and the Growth book: the two patches onto main by @Lattymoy in #1081
