Patch Notes: Passage Under Sail and Batch Salvage
Passage under sail
- Friendly merchant and navy ships moored at a port's quays can now carry you. Walk up to one, look at her hull and press Activate.
- Her captain lists every port you know, nearest first, with the direction it lies and the fare (Daggerfall's ship fare for the whole voyage).
- Pick a port and confirm. You board at her helm and the voyage is sailed across the Overworld - never a jump. Nothing is paid until she sets sail.
- If the voyage stops (an enemy nearby, a fight, loading a save), her captain sails on by himself while you stay aboard. He keeps to the port you paid for.
- At the far port she lands you, and you walk the rest of the way in. Step off her anywhere and the passage ends; anything you put in her hold comes back to your pack.
- She is never yours: she is not in your Fleet, cannot be packed, and is never your ship's cabin.
- Online, any player at the port can book a ship there, and once she has sailed she is gone from that berth for everyone for the rest of the day. Other players can board and ride along.
Batch salvage
- The enhanced inventory has a new Batch salvage button. Tap pieces to tick them, or use All Magic, All Rare or All junk to select in one go.
- A sweep never picks a Legendary piece - you choose those by hand.
- Pieces that can't be salvaged (worn, locked, set with gems) are dimmed and say why.
- One question confirms the whole batch: it lists the pieces and the shards you'll get. Keep cancels and leaves your selection in place.
