What's New
Remote Desktop
- Cursor shape sync — local cursor now mirrors the remote cursor shape (resize arrows, text beam, pointer, etc.) on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Bandwidth-efficient delta encoding sends shape only on change.
Device Management
- Self-uninstall on permanent delete — deleting a decommissioned device sends a best-effort uninstall command to the agent (launchd/systemd/sc.exe) before removing the DB record.
- Headless server detection — servers without displays are detected and the remote desktop button is disabled with a tooltip.
- Tab persistence — browser refresh stays on the current device sub-tab instead of resetting to Overview.
AI Agent
- Configuration policy tools — fleet tools (maintenance windows, alert rules, automations, service monitors) made read-only; mutations routed through policy feature links.
- New policy prerequisite tools — manage update rings, software policies, peripheral policies, backup configs.
- AI tools refactor —
aiTools.tssplit into 20 focused domain modules. - Tier 3 guardrail for
manage_policy_feature_link:remove.
Agent & Installer
- WebRTC ICE resilience — improved connection stability.
- MSI service fixes — auto-start and restart on install.
- Winget IPC dispatch fix — correct routing for software install commands.
- run_script tenant isolation hardened.
Fixes
- IPC HMAC nil-payload normalization
- PTY environment setup for system services (systemd/launchd)
- CSP middleware hardening
- Defensive array normalization in configuration policy feature tabs
