This release bundles the new Jellyfin v12 UI, which enables several improvements and makes library merging much more seamless.
Real Library Merging
Jellyswarrm can now deduplicate merged libraries. This means that if the same movie is available on multiple upstream servers, it will only appear once in your library.
You can select and watch the movie as usual. If you want to choose which upstream server to stream it from, you can use Jellyfin's version dropdown to select the desired server.
Since Jellyfin v12 also introduces version support for TV shows, Jellyswarrm can now merge shows in the same way. This also works at the season level. For example, if seasons 1–3 are available on one server and seasons 4–10 are available on another, Jellyswarrm will merge them into a single show.
Quick Connect Sign-In
Users can now sign in to upstream Jellyfin servers using Quick Connect. This means they no longer need to provide their Jellyfin password directly to the Jellyswarrm server.
As part of this change, password handling has also been refactored, and password hashing has been migrated to Argon2.
Bug Fixes and Integration Tests
This release also includes numerous bug fixes and improvements.
Integration tests have been added to the CI pipeline to help ensure that Jellyswarrm continues to work correctly with the latest Jellyfin releases.
