Kopuz brings more of YouTube Music into the app, with richer browsing, search filters, music videos and account switching. Playback gains new streaming controls, browser sign-in is easier, and settings update live without separate clients overwriting each other.
Highlights
More YouTube Music to explore. Browse Explore, Charts, moods, podcasts, uploads and history. Search gains suggestions and filter chips, while artist, album and playlist pages show more details. Shared menus now offer likes, dislikes, library saves, follows and playlist editing where supported (#756, #766, #772).
Switch between songs and videos. The fullscreen player gains a Song/Video switch that keeps your place. Choose Video to watch the matching music video alongside its audio (#773).
Playback your way. Choose streaming quality, continue into a radio when the queue ends, skip explicit tracks or pause YouTube Music listening history. These settings appear when the active source supports them (#774).
Easier sign-in and account switching. Import an existing YouTube browser session and recover expired sessions automatically. YouTube brand accounts can be selected per source, with their own libraries and playlists. ListenBrainz can connect through a signed-in browser profile without manually copying a token (#759, #763, #790).
Settings that stay in sync. Settings files reload without restarting, and each save changes only the edited keys. Locked settings identify the file or environment variable controlling them. Separate clients retain their own layout preferences and no longer overwrite each other’s settings (#732).

- Improved playback for free YouTube accounts when anonymous streams are refused (#790).
- Added clearer playback errors with sign-in, retry and skip actions, plus connection testing in source settings (#791).
- Updated YouTube client-version handling to reduce failures caused by stale versions (#791).
- Fixed context menus being clipped, appearing behind content or ignoring outside clicks (#790).
- Fixed same-titled albums being mixed together and artist pictures being selected by name (#732).
- Fixed seek progress during buffering, crossfades and gapless transitions (#732).
- Improved source switching so queues stay separate and stale library rows disappear (#732).
- Fixed offline listings retaining deleted downloads, and improved language updates, plural counts and sorting by the system locale (#732).
For daemon users, TCP connections now take only an address. Bearer tokens and --token-file have been removed, so the TCP transport is unauthenticated (#783).
