Android gets bottom navigation and better gesture handling. YouTube downloads no longer need yt-dlp, YouTube Music gains timed lyrics, and playing a search result starts a radio.
Highlights
Android feels more at home. Bottom tabs give quick access to Home, Search, Library and Settings. Sorting controls and animated player sheets make browsing easier, and system Back closes panels or returns to the previous page before leaving the app (#702).
YouTube downloads are built in. Kopuz downloads YouTube audio directly, removing the yt-dlp dependency (#722).
More music after your search. Playing a YouTube Music search result starts a radio based on that song. Lyrics now come directly from YouTube Music, with timed lines when available and plain text as a fallback (#721, #722).
