• FOSS GitHub Release Update Checker:
  • Implemented automatic GitHub release check on app launch / re-open for FOSS editions (mobileFoss and tvFoss), disabled by default with an opt-in confirmation dialog explaining update checks and zero personal data collection.
  • Added "Check for Updates" toggle and instant check row to Settings and FOSS About screen with real-time feedback.
  • Added automatic platform-targeted APK resolution (tv-foss-release.apk on Android TV vs mobile-foss-release.apk on Mobile) with glassmorphic dialogs and system update notifications.
  • Implemented server-side release caching cron script (fetch_latest_release.php) and high-performance, rate-limit-free endpoint (update.php).
