Keryx Node v1.6.5 — H15 hardfork
Mandatory update. H15 activates on mainnet at DAA score 140,115,000, expected around Friday, October 30, ~15:00 UTC (estimate, depends on block rate). Nodes older than v1.6.5 will not follow the chain after the gate and will be refused by updated peers.
What H15 brings
- Verifiable inference. Every AI response now commits to a trace of the computation that produced it. Responses are audited: the responder must open the drawn points of its trace in an opening transaction, and the node verifies them. Untraced answers are not credited; a missing or failed opening is struck.
- Per-block task. Each block now carries a task tied to the model the miner serves, so mining stays bound to actually running the model.
- PoM v5. Updated Proof-of-Model parameters per tier.
- Holder reward v3. A gentler ramp for the miner's share, based on how many days of production the payout address holds: 5% at start, +10% every 10 days up to 80% at 80 days, then +5% every 10 days up to 100% at 120 days.
Also in this release
- Private inference: improved key schedule for sealed requests and answers (#44).
keryx-clikeeps sealing with the current schedule until H15, then switches automatically. - Pruning: completed sweeps of the production index are no longer repeated on every virtual update (#43).
- P2P: after H15, peers running keryxd older than 1.6.5 are refused.
