Mandatory upgrade. H14 activates at DAA 121,985,000 (≈ Friday, October 9, 2026, 14:00 UTC, ±1 h depending on hashrate). Nodes that are not upgraded will be left behind at the gate.
H14
- Private inference — every AiRequest is sealed end to end to the whole cohort of miners serving its tier. Plaintext requests are rejected after the gate.
- Answers on-chain — sealed answers travel inline in the AiResponse; new answers no longer depend on IPFS.
- Bigger prompts — up to 64 KiB (compressed); the standard mempool mass of AiRequests is raised to fit.
- Fixed price per model — 0.5 KRX for tier 0, +0.5 KRX per tier up to 2.5 KRX for tier 4, no per-token surcharge (the 0.3 KRX priority fee comes on top).
- Tier 3 — Qwen3.8-27B replaces Qwen3.6-27B.
- New PoM walk seed — miners must run keryx-miner 0.5.6 or later; blocks mined with the previous seed are rejected after the gate.
- IBD — recent blocks received during sync must carry a verified possession proof.
Fixes
- Service bond: provider cohorts are read from the chain tip under the chain lock (no more empty cohorts after a sink reorg).
- P2P: PoM re-proof runs in its own per-peer flow, so relay never waits on it.
- Consensus: a declared-tier mismatch in the PoM witness is a delivery rejection; a pre-gate inline AiResponse body is rejected.
- RPC:
getServiceProvidersmoved to op 156. - Address manager: address book entries capped per IP.
