Ring-a-ding-ding Update
One ring to rule... uhhmmm... not, one ring to scan, and maybe mine. Well, that one planet with five rings is pretty far out, but my SCO is still in cooldown!? When will it be ready again?
This update brings some new features (ring details), QOL improvements (SCO cooldown) and some bugfixes.
It is recommended to run the journal historian after updating to this version.
New Features
#168: If you like it put a ring on it
- The main window now indicates bodies that have rings. 🪐
- Detail panels show the rings type.
- If a ring was scanned (DSS) any discovered hotspots will be shown in the detail panels.
- If a DSS registers any hotspots an indicator is being added to the parent body in the main window ⛏️
#169: When is that #@!% SCO ready? 😤😡
- As there is no in-game cooldown timer like the one for the FSD after a jump or emergency drop: Here it is!
- In the "Engine status" panel you will see the status of your SCO, including a countdown for the 9 second cooldown. ❄️⏳

Bug Fixes
- #247: Fix scoopable for star types with suffixes. Yes, a B_BlueWhiteSuperGiant is scoopable, because it's basically a B type star.
- #237: If the prediction states "Bacterium A", and the first DNA sample reports "Bacterium B", the prediction overview is now updated properly instead of just hiding "Bacterium A".
Known issues
- #248: The use of "frozen columns" makes a mess out of the tooltips of the column headers. That seems to be a wx.Grid quirk. Until a solution is found, there will be no frozen columns for the time being.
