🚨 Action Required: Update Better Thermostat BEFORE updating Home Assistant to 2026.11
Important
Please install Better Thermostat 1.9.4 before updating your Home Assistant instance to 2026.11.
HA 2026.11 removed RestoreStateData.last_states, so restoring the child-lock switch can prevent the thermostat from starting.

- Update Better Thermostat to 1.9.4 first (via HACS or manual download).
- Restart Home Assistant.
- Now update Home Assistant to 2026.11.
