4.37.0 - 2022-02-25

Added

  • Added a Call config iceCollectionCheckFunction to allow for configuration of the ICE candidate collection process. KJS-449
    • This replaces the previous iceCollectionCheck Call config, and previous functions provided using that config will need to be updated to adhere to the form of the new IceCollectionCheckFunction definition.
    • See IceCollectionCheckFunction documentation for more information.

Fixed

  • Fixed a Call issue where an irregular remote, slow-start operation would cause the Call's operation tracking to become out-of-sync with actual operations. KJS-542
  • Fixed a Call issue where after a successful direct transfer operation, the Call would not be ended as expected if the operation tracking was out-of-sync. KJS-542

Changed

  • Changed when we start a call audit loop from Connected state to Initiated state in order to catch scenarios where the call is ended before it's connected. KJS-445
  • Changed the default ICE Collection Check Function functionality. KJS-450
    • Previously, negotiation would begin as soon as an ICE candidate of type "relay" was collected.
    • The new change takes into account the number of media transports, and configured TURN servers. For more information, see IceCollectionCheckFunction documentation.
    • Added Call config properties iceCollectionIdealTimeout and iceCollectionMaxTimeout to allow configuration of the timeouts for the default function.
  • The SDK will no longer always end a call if no ICE candidates have been gathered, giving more control to the ICE collection check function. KJS-546
    • The default ICE collection check behaviour will still fail a call if no ICE candidates have been gathered.
    • Custom ICE collection check functions will now have to add logic for this as needed.
