Jadyx 0.3.5 brings the Jadyx Portal: send games, keys and firmware to your Xbox straight from your PC or phone, no Device Portal or USB needed. It also gets two more games running, cuts shader stutter and makes Pulse sessions survive updates.

Highlights

Jadyx Portal: import from your PC or phone

Jadyx now runs a small local web page you open in any browser on the same network. From it you can:

  • Upload games (base game .nsp). Each upload is checked before it reaches your library, so a broken or incomplete file never shows up as a game.
  • Upload keys (prod.keys, title.keys, or a .zip with them).
  • Upload firmware as a .zip, the loose .nca files or a whole folder. Jadyx reads its version, warns you if something looks wrong and installs nothing until you confirm. Your current firmware stays as it is until then.
  • Resume interrupted uploads. If the Wi-Fi drops or you close the browser or the app, connect again and pick the same file: it carries on from where it stopped.

How to use it

  1. Put the Xbox and your PC or phone on the same local network (Ethernet or Wi-Fi).
  2. In Jadyx, open Settings → File manager → Network connection and choose Start server. If the console has more than one connection, choose which one to use in Local network address.
  3. On your PC or phone, open the address Jadyx shows (for example http://192.168.1.20:8080).
  4. In Jadyx, choose Generate connection code and type the 8-digit code into the browser. It is valid for 5 minutes and works once.
  5. Use the Content tab for games and the System tab for keys and firmware. Pick your files and follow the progress in the browser and on the TV.
  6. When you're done, choose Stop server. It also stops by itself when you start a game.

The portal only works on your local network, and nothing is sent to the internet. Stay on the library screen while uploading.

Keys and firmware from a ZIP, with a safety check

  • Keys and firmware can now be imported straight from a .zip, from the portal or from a USB drive. There's no need to extract it first, and folders inside the ZIP are fine. Damaged or incomplete ZIPs are rejected.
  • Importing keys or firmware, from the portal or from a USB drive, now opens a review screen first. It shows the installed and the new firmware version and key generation side by side.
  • Jadyx warns you before you downgrade firmware, drop key generations you already have, or install keys that may not open your current firmware.
  • If an import fails, your previous keys and firmware are kept.

Game fixes

  • Yo-kai Watch 4++ now boots.
  • Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity now gets in-game. It is still being worked on, so expect rough edges.
  • Fixed a Direct3D 12 crash that some games hit when the GPU flushed in the middle of a query.
  • Better behaviour when video memory runs short in heavy games.

Smoother gameplay

  • Fewer shader stutters: Jadyx now prepares pipelines in the background while there is free memory, and it no longer throws away ones it will need again.

Pulse (save and resume sessions)

  • Your saved sessions now survive app updates. A new build only discards them when Pulse's own format changes.
  • Sessions take less space, and ones you have already resumed are cleaned up automatically.
  • Sessions can now be saved in more games.

Interface

  • Brazilian Portuguese interface language.
  • Game titles appear in the language the game runs in, and Jadyx picks the game language from your Windows language list more reliably.
  • Accented characters for Spanish and Portuguese on the on-screen keyboard.
  • Clearer, translated error messages, for example when a USB game folder can't be read.
  • New splash screen and logo.

Install

You need an Xbox Series X|S in Dev Mode. No keys, firmware or games are included: use your
own dumps.

  1. Download Jadyx_0.3.5.0_x64.appx, Microsoft.VCLibs.x64.14.00.appx and
    Jadyx.cer from the assets below.
  2. On a PC on the same network, open Device Portal at https://<xbox-ip>:11443 (Dev Home
shows the address) and accept the browser's certificate warning.
  3. Choose Add, pick the Jadyx appx, add the VCLibs appx as a dependency and Jadyx.cer
    as the certificate, and install.
  4. In Dev Home, select Jadyx → View details and set App type to Game. In App mode
    it runs out of memory.
  5. Start Jadyx and send your keys, firmware and games from a PC or phone with the
Jadyx Portal: Settings → File manager → Network connection → Start server, open
the address it shows in a browser on the same network and enter the connection code.
  6. Other ways: import keys and firmware from a folder or ZIP on a USB drive in
Settings → File manager, and add games from an external folder or USB drive, or copy
them to the app's LocalState\games folder with the Device Portal file explorer.

A newer version installs over the previous one and keeps your games, saves and settings. Do
not uninstall to update: uninstalling deletes them.

Reporting bugs

Open an issue at https://github.com/JulianDr14/jadyx/issues/new/choose with the Bug
Report
form. A good report has:

  • The Jadyx version (0.3.5) and whether it is a Series X or S, in Game mode.
  • What you did, what you expected and what happened instead, with the steps to make it
    happen again.
  • The logs from the app's LocalState\jadyx\log folder (Device Portal → File
    explorer
    ): jadyx_log.txt, jadyx_diag.txt and, for graphics problems,
jadyx_graphics_bugs.log. Grab them right after the problem, before launching another
    game.

Search the existing issues first. Reports about pirated keys, firmware or games are closed.
If the bug also happens in the desktop builds of Eden, report it to Eden instead.
