Enhanced SCCT Versus v3.6 Patch Notes

Thanks to AllyPal (NoFrameLimit) for contributing to various fixes and improvements in this version of Enhanced SCCT Versus with the SCCT Versus Reloaded patch.

Gameplay

Bug Fixes

  • Jumps will now correctly lock-on and snap to nearby enemies when inside a volume actor.
  • While in slow mode and standing, the Spy no longer moves faster when strafing. As a result, Proxy Mines will no longer be accidentally triggered when moving diagonally.
  • Speculative fix for a rare issue where a client Spy could not pick up a disk due to incorrect interaction rotation.
  • Sticky Cams will now properly play their activation sound for clients when fired in the east direction.
  • Fixed a bug where selecting the Camo. Suit and exiting a previous Sticky Camera would automatically use the gadget in slot 2.
  • Fixed a bug where the Mercenary crosshair would sometimes shift to the side.

Enhancements

  • Holding the use button while in slow mode (standing or crouched) will now attempt to grab ledges when falling. This improves ledge hanging on controllers, where registering a single directional input can be difficult.
  • Updated Sticky Camera behavior so that trying to launch one with none left does not switch to a previous camera.
  • An option has been added to revert to the original off-center crosshair.
  • Enhanced Reality icon opacity can now be adjusted between 20% and 100% through the Reloaded settings.
  • Improved client so that other clients' player locations do not desync as easily.
  • Improved client so that grenade locations do not desync as easily.
  • Improved client responsiveness for Sticky Cams with added lag compensation.
  • Increased the velocity threshold for disks to prevent Spies from briefly appearing on radar when climbing poles or ladders.

General

  • Added new Lobby Room settings to change the map using previous/next arrows or a drop-down list with categories and search functionality.
  • Removed the restriction that prevented a host from starting a game when the other team had no players.
  • A notification sound now plays when a player joins a game session.
  • Players can type !resign in chat to forfeit the current round by eliminating their remaining lives.
  • The game will now cache the last profile's audio settings for use on the next boot.

Input

  • Native controller support can now be enabled through the Reloaded settings.
  • Team-specific controls can now be configured for Spy and Mercenary.
  • Mouse sensitivity can now be configured independently for Spy and Mercenary.
  • Mouse sensitivity for the Spy Weapon Mode can now be configured through the Reloaded settings.
  • The vertical scale for Mercenary Sniper Mode can now be configured through the Reloaded settings. Originally, vertical sensitivity was fixed at 40.8% of horizontal sensitivity.
  • The Spy's lock-on snap when drawing the Shocker Gun can now be disabled through the Reloaded settings.

Graphics

  • Widescreen support has been added to prevent 16:9 aspect ratio from appearing stretched, configured through the Reloaded settings.
  • Redesigned the HUD to prevent stretching and provide native support for 16:9 aspect ratio.

Networking

  • Improved accuracy of LAN server list ping values.
  • The server name is displayed at the bottom of the Lobby Room for clients.

  • Enhanced Aquarius
    • Bug fixed: Small collision fix in Pirates' Room.
  • Enhanced Club House
    • Bug fixed: Corrected the backpole window having no opacity in Thermal and EMF Vision.
  • Enhanced Factory
    • Bug fixed: Door behavior for the upstairs shortcut between the Main Hall and the Mechanical Digger Room has been updated so that if bumped, the door will now retry closing itself instead of staying open.
  • Enhanced Museum
    • Added hacking panels to open each of the door entrances leading to Storage.
    • Improved the Monolith and Exhibition presence triggers to be better centered on the doors.
  • Enhanced Orphanage
    • Bug fixed: Fixed various missing callouts.
  • Steel Squat
    • Bug fixed: Callout bugs for Red Building and Boss's Office.
  • Enhanced Steel Squat
    • Bug fixed: Callout bugs for Red Building and Boss's Office.
  • Skyscraper
    • Bug fixed: Removed an unnecessary ledge grab.
