Enhanced SC v1.2 Patch Notes
Gameplay
- Added Mission Statistics that can be viewed while playing a mission and upon completing a mission.
- Added a new difficulty called Elite, which removes starting ammo unless required, reduces initial health, disables saves, and includes other level-specific changes.
- Added a Permadeath Mode, where failing a mission deletes your profile.
- Added Open Door Stealth as a separate door interaction, similar to Chaos Theory.
- Increased the lifespan for bullet shell casings from 3 seconds to 30 seconds.
- Added an option to whistle similar to later Splinter Cell games.
- Added an option to randomize lockpick combinations.
- Added an option to control the explosion delay for Wall Mines:
- 1.75 seconds (Default)
- 0.50 seconds (Elite)
- 0.00 seconds (Instant)
- Added an option for the interaction box and inventory to not pause the game, similar to Chaos Theory.
- Added an option to hide letterboxing in cinematics.
- Added an option to unlock all levels, including their individual parts.

- Restored the Xbox light effect for alarm lights when they are triggered.
Input
- Added an option to toggle Back to Wall peek when weapon is equipped.
- Added an option to toggle the inventory, so holding the key is no longer required, similar to Pandora Tomorrow.
- Added an option to assign a keybind to toggle the HUD on or off.
- Added Alt+F4 support to exit the game during menus or in-game.
Miscellaneous
- Added an "Enhanced" tab in the Settings menu for configuring Enhanced settings.
- All mission parts now require a keypress to continue after loading, not just the initial part.
- Fixed an issue in the PC version where inactivity videos couldn't be skipped.
- The "Mission Complete" screen now requires a keypress to continue, giving players the chance to view their Mission Statistics without a timer.
- Increased the inactivity timer from 100 seconds to 300 seconds before inactivity videos start playing.
- Added a debug command

that locks the camera in place, similar to thefixecam
command in Chaos Theory.

- Police Station
- Restored the extraction van from Xbox version.
- Fixed an issue in the Police Station by making a plant texture two-sided, allowing it to render correctly from both sides.
- Defense Ministry
- Applied alternate character meshes to increase NPC variety.
- Oil Refinery
- Applied alternate character meshes to increase NPC variety.
- Changed the default mesh for Sam to Partial Sleeves.
- The loading screen for the second part has been updated to a more fitting version from the September 2002 build.
- CIA HQ
- Changed the default mesh for Sam to Balaclava.
- On Elite mode, tripping an alarm before accessing the CIA central server will result in mission failure.
- On Elite mode, the fan timer has been reduced from 100 seconds to 60 seconds.
- Fixed the bug where killing Mitchell Dougherty during Lambert's speech wouldn't fail the mission.
- Kalinatek
- Included the Xbox version, featuring lighting improvements.
- Restored two previously unused character meshes to increase NPC variety.
- On Elite mode, the bomb timer has been reduced from 150 seconds to 100 seconds.
- Fixed an issue in Kalinatek's texture package by making a plant texture two-sided, allowing it to render correctly from both sides.
- Abattoir
- Applied alternate character meshes to increase NPC variety.
- The kill objective will no longer complete from knocking out the primary target.
- Prevent a bug where the player could keep retriggering the same objective and dialogue.
- After completing the final objective, the player can still move around in case enemies are still around.
- Changed the default mesh for Sam to Partial Sleeves.
- Chinese Embassy 2
- Changed the default mesh for Sam to Partial Sleeves.
- Fixed an issue where fight music would persist for the rest of the mission if the player sneaked past the guards destroying Feirong's data.
- Kola Cell
- Restored the Russian stress and fight soundtracks.
- Added alternate mix of common fight theme.
- The kill objective will no longer complete from knocking out the primary target.
- Changed the default mesh for Sam to Standard.
- Vselka
- Alarm stages will no longer be ignored for the initial part.

- On Elite mode, the extraction timer has been reduced from 150 seconds to 100 seconds.

- Nuclear Power Plant
- Added turret controllers for the turrets.
- Fixed disposable picks that were assigned the wrong StaticMesh.
- Severonickel
- Fixed a StaticMesh that was clipping through a ceiling.
- Added textures for several StaticMeshes that had none assigned.
Note
Saves from a previous version will not be deleted, but they will appear as missing. Enhanced intentionally hides them because they aren't compatible with this version.
