What's new:
- Fix the missing field in overlays > message allowing you to pick between text and shell script
- Unified settings on macOS Catalina+ ! Aerial now properly shares settings between the screen saver and when running under Aerial Companion in Destkop mode or Fullscreen mode. This was already the way Aerial worked prior to Catalina. Settings are now shared again. Massive thanks to @xmddmx for their assistance on this !
- Fix an annoying issue on macOS Ventura System Settings crashing/restarting the mini preview every second or so. This only happened if the mini preview was trying to play a HDR Video.
- Disabled video preview on HDR videos in "Browse Videos", as this also causes crashes on Ventura. Video preview will still be available when running Aerial settings under Companion, until this gets fixed.
- Fix locations not showing correctly when using a non default cache
- Clicking the hidden videos at the bottom right will now take you to your hidden videos, so you can manage them
- Add a new "mute all macOS sounds", this will mute your mac completely while the screensaver is running, and unmute before quitting
- Add support for tvOS 16 manifest, replacing tvOS 15. There are no new videos yet ;)
- Fixed show log button and general look of the advanced panel that was cut on the bottom
- Fix for macOS not creating correctly some container folders
- Removed contextual menu from "Browse videos" that didn't work correctly
- Added a contextual menu on the Now Playing view, so you can easily favorite/hide a category (eg: hide Space videos)
- Fixed some crashes when disabling all sources or hiding all videos
Known issues :
- Album art is no longer working for Apple Music, this is not linked to this build, but has been an issue for a while since Apple changed something to their API. Hopefully a solution will be in an upcoming build.
