Second beta release of Gitnuro 2.0
Improvements
- Rebase edit now automatically picks up the previous message instead of showing an empty commit field.
- Request of SSH password for signing is not shown if there is no password on the key.
- Added credentials retry if using wrong password for SSH key during signing
Fixes
- Restored load of persisted commit message
- Fixed LFS failing to pull changes in certain providers
- Fixed UI showing identity not set while still loading it
- Fixed stacktrace showing even if there is no exception
- Fixed rebase and rebase interactive state handling
- Fixed submodule failing to open.
- Fixed Linux ARM build not running.
- Fixed monospaced font not being used in the linux build.
Known issues
- Reopening gitnuro with the current tab being a repo that no longer exists, takes to the home screen but tab still shows repo title. No error is shown. Fix will be available before Release Candidate 1.
- Subtitle when processing something has been lost since v1.5. Fix will be available before Release Candidate 1.
- MacOS build will be available in the next beta and include signing.
Builds
- Gitnuro linux JAR version requires Java 25 to be installed.
- Flathub beta version not available yet.
- Next beta will offer an experimental native build (without Java) to Linux and Windows users.
