linver is About Linux 2000 in the manner of winver: a white banner with your distribution's logo beside the name in large type, then the flag beside the version and build, the copyright, the distribution and kernel, the window manager, who the desktop is licensed to, the memory line and OK, with the trademark note at the foot. Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > About Linux 2000, or Run > linver.
Every About box in the desktop now reads "Linux 2000 -- A Windows 2000-style desktop for X11" above its own lines.
