Control Panel is the Windows 2000 folder again. Menu bar, the standard toolbar (Back, Forward, Up, Search, Folders, History, Move To, Copy To, Delete, Undo, Views), the Address bar with Go, the web-view pane on the left with the banner, the bold heading, the rule and the description of whatever you select, the icon view and the three-pane status bar. Every size in it was measured off a screenshot of the real Control Panel, and the applet icons are cut from the same screenshot.
Network and Dial-up Connections is new, on the same window: Make New Connection and one icon per adapter, the pane telling you its type, status and the adapter's name, and the Local Area Connection Status dialog with its Connection and Activity groups, Properties and Disable. Wireless adapters get a Wireless Network Connection in the same style: signal strength in the pane and the dialog, and a Wireless Networks page that scans, connects (asking for the key) and disconnects through NetworkManager. Start > Settings, or Control Panel.
Your colours reach every program. Whatever you set in Display Properties > Appearance is now written out, on every save and at logon, in the forms other toolkits read: Chicago95 (GTK 3) takes it as colour overrides, GTK 4 and libadwaita programs as rules, GTK 2 as a colour scheme, and Qt through the qt5ct/qt6ct palette. Programs pick the colours up when they start.
