Fixes found on a live desktop after 1.1.0.
- Snipping Tool saved black pictures. Every saved snip (and clipboard copy) came out solid black because an image read back from a pixmap has no channel masks. Fixed; the tool now saves what it shows.
- Coloured boxes behind app icons on Luna title bars and pressed task buttons. Firefox and Chromium publish their window icon with an opaque checkerboard where the transparent pixels should be; the shell now takes the icon-theme file first, which has real transparency.
- The Windows 7 orb glows. Hovering fades the lit orb in over a quarter of a second and out again when the pointer leaves, as on Windows 7. The orb strip (
skins/w7-orb.png, three states stacked) remains a drop-in file. - Start menu program scan only read the first entry of
XDG_DATA_DIRScorrectly (astrtokclash found by AddressSanitizer). All application directories are scanned now.
Install as for 1.1.0: curl -sL jacktulli.github.io/w2k | sh on a fresh machine, or ./install.sh --xinitrc from a clone. The tarball is a prebuilt /usr/local tree for trying the desktop; its w2kdm has no PAM.
