This release adds a home timezone that Calino uses throughout the calendar, custom reminder times, improves month-view spacing and event-time visibility, and fixes several CalDAV sync problems.

Added

  • Home timezone (#207, #230). Under Settings → General, choose a timezone to use for the calendar clock, today, new timed events, drag-and-drop, and events without their own timezone. Leave it unset to follow your device. Events with their own timezone keep it, all-day dates stay unchanged, and reminders still fire at the correct instant. The picker is searchable, and week and day views label the chosen zone. Thanks to @sllrs for the feature.

  • Custom reminders (#234). The event reminder picker now offers a “4 hours before” preset and a “Custom…” option that takes a whole number of minutes, hours, days or weeks, up to 4 weeks. Settings → Calendar has the same custom option for the default reminder. Thanks to @rlopardo for the feature.

Changed

  • Past weeks in month view fit their content. Quiet past weeks give more room to the weeks still ahead, while a height limit keeps a quiet month balanced.

  • Event times stay readable. Long locations give up space before the time, so event cards keep the full time visible.

Fixed

  • Server edits appear on incremental sync (#226). Fetching a changed CalDAV resource now bypasses the browser cache, preventing stale event data from being saved with a newer sync token.

  • Apple events with travel time stay visible (#227). Travel durations written by iOS with an explicit duration type no longer cause the whole event to fail to load.

  • One unreadable CalDAV resource no longer holds back the calendar (#228). Deletions elsewhere still reconcile, cached events from the unreadable resource are preserved, and the resource is retried. A notice identifies unreadable resources without repeating every sync, and Android background sync keeps refreshing the readable resources too.

  • “This and following” edits sync correctly (#229). Splitting a recurring series now writes the new series to its own CalDAV resource after updating the original, avoiding server rejection of a resource containing two event identities.

Thanks to @zxzxzx258 and @robinmaypanpan for reporting the sync issues.
