Added

  • Events move between calendars — for real this time. Changing an event's calendar used to look like it worked until the next sync quietly put it back; the move now happens on the server, so events stay where you put them — including recurring series with their individual exceptions, and even across accounts. Fixes #86.
  • Contact birthdays & anniversaries actually land on your calendar. "Add to calendar" used to write only locally, so the event vanished at the next sync; it is now saved to the server, survives reloads, and — with more than one writable calendar — you get to choose where it goes. Undo removes it everywhere, and deleting the contact cleans up its birthday events too. Fixes #84.
  • Journal entries can be filed into the calendar of your choice — and moved between calendars (or back to the Offline calendar) any time you edit one. Fixes #89.
  • Journal entries show their month and year, so a June 5th entry can't be confused with an April 5th one. Fixes #85.
  • Hiding a calendar in the sidebar now hides its journal entries everywhere — the list, the day sheet and the month-grid dots — exactly like events and tasks. Fixes #88.
  • Contact relations resolve to the person they point at. A relation entered as a UUID used to display as a raw urn:uuid:… string forever; it now shows the contact's name, is clickable, and works across address books. Relations and group members are picked from a searchable list instead of typed by hand. Fixes #87.

Fixed

  • Birthdays and anniversaries could show the wrong day (age off by one) in timezones west of UTC — a birthday on July 1st was sometimes counted as June 30th.
  • Editing an event twice in a row could fail to save on some calendar servers; consecutive edits now save reliably.
  • A contact whose only extra detail was a relation, a language or group membership showed an empty page — the whole details section was hidden unless there was also an email, phone, address, website or messaging handle.

Changed

  • Typing in the journal and opening contact details are noticeably snappier with long lists.
