InterTune 0.12.7
Downloads in seconds, lyrics videos up to ten minutes, and a Shelf widget in three looks.
Downloads
- Downloads finish in seconds. YouTube sent a song in one piece at about twice its playing speed, so a three-hour mix took over an hour and a half. InterTune now asks for it a megabyte at a time, at full speed.
Lyrics videos
- Up to ten minutes. A lyrics video takes up to ten minutes of the song instead of one, and the screen stays on while it is made.
- Living blur in a lyrics video moves with the music, as it does in the player, and is as dark as it is behind your lyrics. It used to drift on its own.
- Phones that could not make a lyrics video at all, such as some on older Android versions, make it now.
Widgets and sharing
- The Shelf widget comes in three looks: Big cover, Crate and Records, picked in its settings. It fills a big tablet widget too, and mirrors itself in right to left languages.
- A song shared as InterTune's page shows its own name and cover in chat apps.
Fixed
- Leaving the app while it starts no longer closes it, and downloads cut short carry on when you come back (#65).
- Moving a long download into a download folder no longer closes the app (#67).
- With Skip silence on, quiet music plays at its own speed instead of a little faster.
- A lyrics video shared to Discord and other apps plays, instead of arriving as a still picture.
- The player menu's Equalizer opens InterTune's own equalizer. On most phones it did nothing.
- Search lyrics finds lyrics it used to miss: each source is asked on its own, and each artist alone too. Its results show on their own, and Back returns to the search as you typed it.
- The Now playing widget shows its picture in the widget picker again, where it said "Couldn't add widget".
- With the MediaStore scanner chosen, songs added since the last scan come in with their titles and artists when the app opens.
- Search results no longer start with an empty band above the top result.
- An album that does not load offers Retry instead of an empty page.
- The Exclusions page shows Undo at the bottom of the screen, instead of over its first lines.
Other
- South Korea. YouTube Music keeps songs, albums and mixes for Premium there, so InterTune now says so and points to the proxy setting (#68). The proxy page offers a restart when you change it, since a proxy is only taken when the app starts.
- Reports say when a copy came from InterTune's updater.
- Korean, Turkish and French brought up to date by their translators.
