A hotfix, mostly for one thing: nobody could answer the questions feature that 0.10.6 shipped.
Nobody was ever asked about questions
0.10.6 added the occasional question at the top of Home, and asked your permission for it on the last page of the setup wizard. That wizard runs once. So if you updated from an earlier version, or skipped setup, you were never asked, the setting stayed off, and the feature was invisible on your install. The first question went out to almost nobody.
Both opt-ins, updates and questions, are now asked on a small screen after the update, and again after restoring a backup that did not carry your answers. Answer once and it never comes back. If you already said no to either, nothing changes and you will not be asked again.
Refreshing Home now finds new songs
Pulling to refresh mostly reprinted the same recommendations in a different order. InterTune was reading only the first response from YouTube, which is three rows and about 25 songs, and the rest of your feed was reachable only by scrolling far enough. Refreshing threw that away and drew from the same small pool again.
It now reads past the first response on every load. Measured on a real account: 10 rows and 94 songs instead of 3 rows and 25, so a refresh has nearly four times as much to pick from and genuinely lands on new music.
Making a playlist takes one tap
There is a + button on the library screen. Creating a playlist used to live only in the overflow menu of the Playlists filter, so you had to know it was there.
An empty playlist is no longer a dead end
A new playlist showed a music note, the words "The playlist is empty", and nothing else. It did not even say which playlist you had just made, and there was no way to put anything in it but the back button.
It now keeps its header and turns into the search for its first song: type, and results appear with a + next to each one. It stays open while you add, so you can fill a playlist in one go.
