A small follow-up to 0.10.4, mostly about the icon.

The icon fits now

On a lot of phones the icon was too big for its own frame, and the launcher cut the corners off the triangle: the top, the bottom, and the point on the right.

Android draws an app icon on a canvas that is larger than what you see, and lets each launcher cut its own shape out of the middle. The mark was drawn past that line, so whatever the launcher trimmed, it trimmed off the icon. It is now sized to sit inside it, so the whole triangle survives whatever shape your phone uses.

The app uses its own icon

InterTune's icon stopped at the home screen. Inside the app, the logo on the tablet sidebar and the icon on the playing notification were still OuterTune's, which is a different project. Both are InterTune's mark now.

The update prompt no longer promises a download it has not made

If you had not yet given InterTune permission to install apps, the update box opened with "Downloaded and ready" whether or not anything had been downloaded. Since downloading ahead of time is off unless you turn it on, that was the usual case, and it was simply untrue. It now tells you which it is.

One thing worth knowing about updating

When you install an update from inside the app, Google Play Protect will interrupt with "App scan recommended" and offer Scan app or Don't install app. This happens with anything not installed from the Play Store, InterTune included, and it is not a sign that anything is wrong.

If you would rather not send the file to Google, tap More details and then Install without scanning. Either way finishes the update. Tapping "Don't install app" cancels it, and InterTune is never told, so it will look like the update simply did nothing.

Install the APK below. If you already have InterTune, this installs over the top and keeps your library.
