Thank you to everyone who have participated in the VaporLens discussion I brought up in the last release.
The VaporLens will stay, but I have made some changes:
- VaporLens will stay enabled by default, but in a collapsed state
- a quick link to settings have been added to the VaporLens box
- in settings, a new AI/LLM category was created so it can be more easily found
- an AI/LLM kill switch toggle has been added. I don't plan to add any more features that use LLM in any way, but this way everyone can have a peace of mind that if something is added (which it won't), you won't see it because of the kill switch setting
- explanation of how VaporLens works and what it does has been added to the settings
- a note about LLM usage has been added to VaporLens box, with another link to settings
Other than that:
- changelog will now keep showing up until you explicitly close it (unless you turn off changelogs in settings); hopefully you won't miss new features or changes anymore. In the future I'll try to explore whether it's possible to show settings directly in changelog, but I am making no promises about that at this point
- fixed quick sell and instant sell prices in some currencies after latest Steam change (very big thanks to przemo20 and Wojox for helping with this)
- fixed highlighting in bundle pages (again); also on package pages
- fixed notes not being saved with numpad enter
- improved "Show purchase date" option; it should be more robust now and work for more games. In cases where we can't fetch it, you will see link to the help page which shows purchase/acquire date
- fixed publisher and developer search not working in some cases, falls back to regular search now (thanks Dheemanth07)
- added exact release date for upcoming titles that have the date listed
- added option to restore price cut (and full price) on app pages, where Steam only shows a discount icon and price history table for last 30 days
