Binary versions are compiled for Fedora 25 (64 bits) and above, Ubuntu 16.04 (64 bits) and above, OSX 10.9 (Mavericks) and above, and Windows 7 (64 bits) and above. For more recent versions or if these binaries do not work on your OS, please build them from source (refer to the wiki for this). If you are using Anima for your research, please take the time to:

  • Cite the relevant papers referenced in the other pages of this documentation wiki
  • Add a sentence in your acknowledgments section or in the methods part of your paper referencing the RRID of Anima: RRID:SCR_017017 (should be written like this to ensure it is recognized by search bots)

Among new things are the following:

  • Sparse initialization for multi-compartment models estimation
  • Addition of Stanisz isotropic compartment model
  • Possibility to add priors to MS lesion graph cuts segmentation
  • Change transformation default extrapolation in non linear registration
  • Addition of validation tools used for the MICCAI MSSEG 2016 challenge
    • animaDetectedComponents, animaSegPerfAnalyzer
  • Addition of some basic tools:
    • linear transformation to stationary velocity field
    • output of nearest rigid transform in linear registration
    • image resolution changer tool
  • New release of Anima scripts v2.0 along with this release
  • Other minor bug corrections/evolutions

Known bugs identified in this release:

  • a bug in Levenberg Marquardt based MCM estimation is under review
