General / Misc

  • Engineers are now immune to mines to prevent them suiciding when trying to defuse them.
  • Added a tick icon to completed upgrades.
  • Air to air aircraft prioritize air targets when attack moving or idling in defensive stance.
  • Add times to observer upgrades tab & sort by time.
  • Add Soviet/Allied level ups and GDI Upgrade Center plugs to observer upgrades tab.
  • Prevent vehicles/infantry being crushed when Iron Curtained or being warped.
  • Removed resistance vs aircraft damage from Construction Yards and War Factories.

Campaign

  • Added Respawn option to Subversion, Duality, Domination, Incapacitation and Subjugation missions. Chrono Prison also respawns if enabled for Containment.
  • Improved campaign AI compositions and target selection.
  • Hard AI will rebuild Construction Yards.
  • Iron Curtain now automated in Schism mission.
  • Changed Decimation mission objective to just destroying Soviet base (seemed odd when the mission finished after destroying just factories).
  • Improved Statecraft mission to better reflect the briefing (re: not tipping the balance of power too far).
  • Improved Singularity mission. Fixed duplicate notification.
  • Improved Reckoning mission.
  • Adjusted difficulty of Supremacy, Succession, Culmination, Capitulation, Procurement, Jailbreak and Spearhead missions.
  • Fixed duplicate notification when additional Hackers are sent in Singularity.
  • Fixed GDI not rebuilding in Reckoning.
  • Improvements Domination mission.
  • Fixed Reckoning co-op crash.

Balance / Faction Changes

Allies

  • New feature for Allies: Influence Levels & Policies
    • The UI shows an Influence Level bar that increases over time with 3 intervals (levels).
    • At level 1 you can select one of 3 Policies.
      • Economy: Reduces the cost of refineries, harvesters and MCV's (scales with level), increases conyard build radius (level 2) and increases Ore Purifier income (level 3).
      • Defense: Increases the HP of all buildings (scales with level), increases structure repair rate (level 2) and increases defense firepower (level 3).
      • Development: Increases XP gain for all units (scales with level), reduces the cost of Tech Center and all upgrades (level 2) and grants additional bonuses for rank 3 veterancy units (level 3).
    • At level 2 you can build the Allied HQ which lets you select one of the 3 Coalitions.
      • Sweden: Cryo Trooper, Cryo Launcher, Cryostorm
      • Korea: Tiger Guard, Black Eagle, Black Sky Strike
      • Greece: Hoplite (reworked), Zeus, Helios Bomb
    • A support power "Time Skip" is available immediately with a short cooldown. This advances Development by 1:00 at a cost of $1000.
    • Cryo Launcher no longer available unless Sweden Coalition is chosen.
    • Cryo Warheads applies to Longbows without Sweden coalition.
    • Korea no longer gets Helipad bonuses.

  • Reduced cost of Coalition upgrades from 750 to 500.
  • Reduced Mirage Tank HP from 34k to 32k. Reduced damage vs infantry.
  • Removed infantry production requirement from IFV.
  • Reduced Nighthawk cryo missile splash radius & chill duration.
  • Spy IFV now has a target painter weapon that reveals vehicle/structure targets and increases the damage they take by 33%.
  • Added Hoplite, Tiger Guard, Eviscerator, Impaler, Stalker, Zone Trooper/Raider/Defender, Commissar, Shadow, Hacker, Reaper, Confessor & Disintegrator IFV turrets.
  • Reworked Yuri/Mastermind IFV to use mind control & Hacker IFV to hack structures. Controlled units/buildings are passed to/from the passenger on exit/entry.
  • Enforcer deals damage in a line.
  • Enforcer IFV gains 50% damage reduction (up from 30%). Fires double shot. Reduced speed.
  • Zeus hits affected by prone & flak vest. Increased damage vs infantry to compensate. Loses charge while turning.
  • Increased Tank Destroyer range from 6 to 7. Reduced HP from 42k to 38k.
  • Increased Prism Tower damage vs heavy/light armor.
  • Peacemaker and Enforcer require either Tech Center or Allied HQ (previously required HQ).
  • Added Fake Power Plant and Fake Refinery.
  • Guardian GI can be given deploy order while parachuting.
  • Increased Harrier missile speed. Reduced damage vs buildings.

Soviets

  • Reduced Iraq Atom Bomb damage vs buildings (so it doesn't one-shot a refinery).
  • Reduced MAD Tank damage vs heavy armor by 15% and light armor by 25%.
  • Ukraine bonus changed from 20% MAD Tank discount to 20% Terror Dog discount.
  • Targeted attack ability for Attack/Terror Dogs (can no longer deploy to detonate).
  • Allow Boris to target frozen actors (so he doesn't move unnecessarily close to airstrike buildings under fog).
  • Selecting a Cloning Vat will now select the queue of the linked production structure.
  • Floating Disc drain targeted via ability (so it can damage power plants & refineries).
  • Increased Killzone duration from 16s to 1 min. Reduced cooldown from 4 min to 3 min.
  • After 4 pulses Desolator eruption radius increases by 1 cell.
  • MAD Tank can't be mind controlled or driver killed after deploying.
  • Increased Cloning Vat, Industrial Plant and Munitions Plant HP from 100k to 120k.
  • Attack Dogs guard selected units when attack moved with an army.
  • Differentiated Rad Trooper and Desolator beam sounds.
  • Atomic Shells prioritizes targets by value.
  • Desolators will cancel irradiate on stop command.
  • Reduced Soviet rank 3 XP requirement from 450 to 425.
  • Slightly reduced Iraq Atom Bomb damage vs buildings.
  • Reduced Seismic Sukhoi damage vs buildings.
  • Increased Overlord/Troop Crawler inspiration range by 1.
  • Inspiration 2nd level granted by any two of Commissar, Troop Crawler, Overlord.

GDI

  • Increased Wolverine HP from 36k to 44k.
  • Reduced Gyro Stabilizers range/reload increase from +65% to +33% for Titans and from +50% to +40% for Juggernauts.
  • Avenger upgrade is now a sidegrade. Slightly increased total damage, but now requires two passes.
  • Added auto attack to Mobile EMP (so it works like Chaos Drone).
  • EMP Missile can be force shielded.
  • Jackknives no longer damage each other on exploding. Now has TankBuster modifier & deals increased damage vs defenses.
  • Aurora no longer gains afterburner when attacking friendly targets. Added minimum range so it will circle back instead of missing.
  • Added target painter ability to Pitbull. Updated turret sprite.
  • Heroes of the Union can now be applied to Grenadiers and Flamethrowers.
  • Reduced Zone Raider splash radius slightly. Reduced projectile speed slightly.
  • Added emergency backup power to ARC Drone Comms Center (charges up, then on low power radar remains active for 15 seconds with a full charge).
  • Increased AGT base damage. Reduced rate of fire. Increased projectile speed.
  • Increased Upgrade Center HP from 120k to 140k. Reduced power consumption from 150 to 100.
  • Reduced cost of Firestorm Missiles, Advanced Radar and Nanoshield plugs from 1250 to 1000. If lost they can be rebuilt for 200. Reduced power consumption from 75 to 50.
  • Reduced Strategy level 1 & 2 upgrade cost from 1000 to 750.
  • Dropzone generates 1250 every minute, up from 1000.
  • Firestorm Missiles, Advanced Radar and Nanoshield powers all start fully charged.
  • Increased JumpJet damage vs aircraft.
  • Reduced Juggernaut range from 13 to 9. Requires Tech Center rather than Upgrade Center. Gyro Stabilizers upgrade passively increases range by 50% (to 13.5).
  • Reduced Orca Bomber, Aurora, Warthog and Avenger Warthog damage vs buildings.

Nod

  • Replaced Deceit Covenant with Zeal Covenant.
    • Confessor Cabal power. Confessors can create an Idol of Kane which buffs friendly infantry, debuffs enemy infantry and provides vision.
    • Bonus grants +15% speed to Buggies/Bikes/Howitzers.
  • Enlightened requires Zeal Covenant. Deals percentage damage (kills a Mammoth faster than a Cyborg Elite but kills a Medium Tank slower). Reduced splash radius. Increased EMP duration from 4s to 6s and range to match main weapon.
  • Avatar no longer replaces Cyborg Elite.
  • Heavy Stealth Tank upgrade moved to Shadow. Increased cost to 1000.
  • Alpha Comanche upgrade removed.
  • Infiltrators are producible again.
  • Removed technology stealing from Assassins.
  • Assassin Squad, Hacker Cell and Confessor Cabal start with a 1:00 charge time (subsequent uses remain at 4:00).
  • Stealth Harvester upgrade available to all Nod on Temple. Increased cost to 1500.
  • Increased Microwave Tank damage vs heavy armor. Driver kill affects targets below 50% health (down from 75%).
  • Removed infantry production requirement from Reckoner.
  • Increased Kamov missile speed. Added concussion effect.
  • Increased Assassin range by 1.
  • Covenant progress can be unlocked by infiltrating buildings.
  • Reduced infiltrated building vision duration from 4 mins to 2 mins. Added icon indicating vision (delayed by 30s for the watched player).
  • Storm Spikes no longer count towards Nod Covenant acquisition.
  • Buggy Decoy Projectors ability is now targeted; the decoys will move to the target after spawning.
  • Increase Basilisk range from 5 to 8. Reduced HP from 27.5k to 22k.
  • Reduced Tech Lock duration from 40s to 30s.
  • Recon Bike, Stealth Tank & Heavy Stealth Tank updated visuals when equipped with Tib Core Missiles upgrade.
  • Improved Manticore projectile tracking.

Scrin

  • Added new bonuses to each Allegiance:
    • Loyalist: Resources near Colony Platforms regrow 25% faster.
    • Rebel: Colony Ship can produces structures while moving.
    • Malefic: Voidspike ability. Converts resources into Black Tiberium, which has 33% the normal value. Deals (low) damage over time within its radius.
  • Obliterator moved from Loyalist allegiance to Harbinger. Reworked so that projectile moves fast but requires charge up. Now able to strafe.
  • Marauder replaces Intruder for Harbinger.
  • Darkener moved from Harbinger to Malefic allegiance. Increased HP from 36k to 38k. Increased rift size.
  • Ruiner moved from Harbinger to Loyalist allegiance.
  • Tormentor available for all Scrin. Fires 6 shots per pass instead of 4 (taking 2 passes to fully unload, down from 3). Increased damage per shot slightly. Increased turn rate from 28 to 32.
  • Anathema grants 25% damage reduction for the first 15 seconds, 50% reduction for the last 15 (instead of 50% throughout).
  • Scrin Rebel Gateway power reworked. Now acts as an exit for a linked production structure.
  • Removed Leecher slow. Increased beam duration (increased DPS).
  • Leecher XP, control group and stance now persist through transforming to/from Coalescence.
  • Atomized debuff reduces speed by 33% (up from 25%). Also reduces firepower by 33%. Now applies to infantry. Reduced DoT damage.
  • Removed Collector bonus of damage caused by Suppression Field. Reduced cooldown and increased duration instead.
  • Increased Eviscerator range by 1. Increased projectile speed. Reduced HP from 13k to 12k.
  • Reduced Impaler speed from 72 to 60. Reduced time between two shots. Increased reload time slightly. Reduced HP from 10k to 9k.
  • Renamed Mutilator to Stalker. Replaced blink with limited time cloak and speed boost. Increased projectile speed. Takes 66% reduced damage for 1 second after decloaking. Reduced HP from 13k to 12k.
  • Hull Regen and Shield Generator upgrades apply to Stormcrawlers. Base HP reduced from 94k to 84k (10k of shields added via upgrade).
  • Ion Conduits can be triggered by force firing.
  • Targeted attack ability for Bursters (can no longer deploy to detonate).
  • Reduced Mothership Wormhole HP from 100k to 50k.
  • Mastermind Mind Spark ability is now targeted; the sparks will move to the target after spawning.
  • Reduced Mind Spark suppression duration, rate of fire, and increased cooldown by 5s. Increase hitbox size for easier selection.
  • Improved Mothership crash explosion.
  • Increased Signal Transmitter HP from 120k to 130k.
  • Reduced Intruder HP from 10k to 9k.

Fixes / Misc

  • Changed bulk transport loading cursor to yellow to make it easier to distinguish.
  • Increased observer build order from 12 to 18 items.
  • Corrected Industrial Plant prerequisites.
  • Fixed units that grant area conditions granting permanent buff to produced units if they enter a transport within range.
  • Fixed Subterranean APC armor type.
  • Fixed Phantom not having Legion stolen tech discount.
  • Fixed Shade having discount for Marked.
  • Fixed infiltrated building vision not being removed if building is destroyed/sold.
  • Fixed duplicate notification when thief infiltrates refinery.
  • Fixed Interceptors getting stuck above landed targets.
  • Fixed Tormentor being rearmed by Mothership despite full ammo.
  • Fixed Buzzer Swarm not spawning on certain terrain types.
  • Fixed chaos immunity not taking effect in some cases.
  • Increased refinery interactable box size, and made it consisent across refineries.
  • Added missing tib tree to Shadowfiend 4v4.
  • MCV in naval transport no longer removes the SD requirement.
  • Make GGI/Grizzly Tank appear in observer army list.
  • Tooltip descriptions for Assassins, Hackers, Confessors & Shadow Operatives.
  • Neutron Shell explained in Atomic Shells tooltip.
  • Fixed briefing typos.
