Changes in this release:
- There was a bug in the previous release that caused the fix for #362 to not work on Windows computers where passkey authentication is in use. This was reported as #369. It is fixed in this release.
- The IBC project has been retargeted to Java 17. This is because there are now no longer any current TWS or Gateway versions that are still targeted on Java 8.
- Some redundant code that is no longer invoked has been removed.
You only need to install this release if your IBKR account uses passkey authentication, and you use Windows.
Otherwise, you may wish to install it (any platform) in order to start using the Java 17 retargetting. This should be a completely transparent change. If you don't do it now, it will automatically take effect at your next IBC update.
To install:
- if you have previously installed release 3.24.0, just extract these files from the zip file to the relevant place:
IBC.jartoC:\IBC(Windows) or/opt/IBC(Linux, macOS)
versiontoC:\IBC(Windows) or/opt/IBC(Linux, macOS)
scripts\StartIBC.battoC:\IBC\scripts(Windows only) - if release 3.24.0 is NOT already installed, you should do a full install to ensure you have all the correct files.
