github IT-BAER/proxmorph v2.9.0

Upgrading from 2.8.2 or older: ./install.sh update runs the old installer, which labels the install with its own version, so status still shows the old version although the 2.9.0 themes are in place. Run ./install.sh update a second time, or update with the one-liner from the README.

Added

  • ESXi Light theme. An ESXi-inspired light theme with slate headers, bundled Clarity City fonts, outlined icons, matching charts and an optional resource-tree toggle, for PVE and PBS. PDM gets the palette without the fonts. Theme by @rufftruffles (#59).
  • Automatic light/dark. ./install.sh auto-theme enable adds "(Auto)" entries for UniFi, UniFi OLED, Nord, Gruvbox, Solarized and Catppuccin. Each entry follows the system color scheme live, without a reload, and the UniFi chart colors follow it too. disable removes the entries. PVE and PBS (#53).
  • Custom UI font. ./install.sh font <family> [file|url] sets the text font for every theme. A WOFF2, WOFF, TTF or OTF file (local path or https URL, up to 4 MB) is embedded into the generated stylesheet, so browsers load nothing from the internet; with a family name only, the font must be installed on the viewing machine. Only the text selectors are targeted, so FontAwesome and the status icons keep working. On PDM the selectors are read from the installed PDM stylesheets and refreshed after PDM updates. ./install.sh font none removes it. PVE, PBS and PDM. Idea and icon-safe selector design by @HyperNova7326 (#58).

Fixed

  • PDM: apt hook copied the theme selector script to /. The generated post-update.sh used PDM_JS_PATCHES_DIR without defining it, so after a PDM update it put pdm-theme-selector.js into the root directory instead of the PDM patches directory.
  • update could leave the host without the apt hook script. The installer emptied /opt/proxmorph before extracting the new release. When extraction failed, for example in an unprivileged container that cannot apply the archive's file owners, post-update.sh was gone and the next Proxmox update did not re-apply the themes. The release is now extracted first, without restoring file owners, and the installed version stays in place if that fails.
  • Theme visual audit. ExtJS two-column layouts no longer wrap at scaling other than 100 %. Disabled toolbar labels stay readable, invalid form fields show their red border again, and unchecked checkboxes are visible in Gruvbox, Nord and Tokyo Night. Primary buttons use palette hover colors in seven themes, including a readable Blue Slate hover. UniFi Light shows dark text on selected grid and tree rows and readable empty-grid text. Gruvbox Light uses dark text on accents and readable link and info text. ESXi Light keeps its tab colors under keyboard focus. On PDM, the sorted column header is readable in Gruvbox Light, ESXi Light and UniFi, the "ProxMorph Themes" heading in the Theme dialog is readable, and Catppuccin Frappe and Macchiato have their semantic color block back.
  • Sensor hints named a command that does not exist. Three messages pointed to install.sh manage-sensors; they now name install.sh sensors enable and install.sh sensors configure.

Changed

  • PDM theme selector shows the theme's display name from its /*!Name*/ header, for example "PM: ESXi Light" instead of a name built from the file name.
