A beta toward the next stable release. Thanks to David Rappo (@rappo) for #21, which brings the want-to-watch playlist into the home row, the item pages, and your viewing, and makes every plugin row work with a TV remote.
Want to watch (from @rappo in #21)
All three options are off by default and need "Want to watch: move arrived titles into a playlist" turned on.
- Include owned titles in the home row. The row leads with what is already on your playlist, newest first, then the titles you are still missing. Each half gets its own row size, so a long playlist cannot push the missing titles off.
- Take titles off once watched. A watched movie or episode comes off the playlist, and a series comes off once every episode is played. It runs on the server, so it works from any client.
- Bookmark button on movie and series pages, among the page's own buttons.
- Plugin rows, Discover included, are reachable with a TV remote's D-pad, and a focused card grows like the stock cards do.
- Returning to the home page fetches the Want to watch row again, so it reflects what you just added, watched, or received.
Web UI
- Not interested (off by default): each user can hide a title from their own pages without hiding it for anyone else, administrators included. A hidden title stays hidden wherever it shows up, and a "Not interested" list in each row's header shows them again.
- A user with a parental rating limit now sees the Web UI sections narrowed to the titles that limit allows, using Jellyfin's own rating check, rather than seeing none of them.
- The home Discover row, the Want to watch row, and the movie/series page rows each have their own placement: off, top, bottom, or after one of Jellyfin's own home or page sections. Existing settings carry over.
Gaps Report
- The toolbar is grouped by what each control acts on: Rescan, Look up where to watch, Explore a source, and the Fulfillment queue sit above the domain tabs; view, sort, search, and the Hide filters come next.
- Every section, letter bucket, and group header has a select-all checkbox, which works before the group is opened. The action bar appears only when something is selected, and Mint acts only on the mintable part.
- A line above the list says how many rows the search and Hide filters are hiding, with a button to show them.
- Add to TODO is now Add to watchlist, since it adds to your own list.
- A long section's letter buckets can be narrowed to two letters.
- The report is usable at phone width.
- Scan progress follows how long each stage took on the last pass, so the slow stages count for what they really take.
- Amazon search links leave out the year, which made most of them miss.
- The Fulfillment queue no longer shows a second JustWatch search.
Settings
- Collapsible sections, a search that opens the sections it matches, and a back-to-top button.
- Better screen reader support: real section headings, help text tied to its field, reveal buttons that say which secret they reveal, and a spoken match count for the search.
