Alarms that get louder, your own alarm sound, two Commodore 64 skins, and a call you can hear ring out.
- Alarms that get louder (#284): a new Gets louder setting (on the screen under Alarms, in the setup page and in Home Assistant) starts an alarm 30 dB down and brings it up to the ring volume over 30 seconds to 5 minutes. An alarm's spoken words wait until it's at full. Thanks, rabbith01e.
- Your own alarm sound (#284): upload
alarm.wavunder Sounds of your own and pick Your own as the alarm sound. - Commodore 64 and TECHO5 BASIC skins: the clock as the computer's start-up screen, with a blinking cursor, in an 8x8 pixel font drawn for TECHO5. TECHO5 BASIC shows the version it's running and the real memory free. Portrait and landscape.
- Hear a call ring out (#283): an outgoing call plays the far end's ringing tone, or its network's announcement ("the number you have dialed is not available"), and the device's own ringing tone where the network sends none. Thanks, miraassist.
- Spoken notifications on a Home Assistant not in English (#294): reminders, alarm words and
speakfound the device's assist satellite by its English name only. They now find it by the device's name, in any language. Thanks, christianschmidt. - Echo Show 5 1st gen hum (#291): the amplifier now sleeps while nothing plays, so the hum some units have in a quiet room is gone, and it wakes before any sound. Thanks, EldoranDev.
- Echo Show 8 2nd gen backlight (#253): on panels that stopped following the brightness after the screen had been off, the backlight now comes back from off at full first, which keeps it following. Thanks, paolofaz and rcbadiale.
- AirPlay: a receiver that came up without announcing itself on the network is now restarted on its own (HuskerMinion/techo5-dot#22). Thanks, chr-braun.
- Screenshots (
/screen.png) show the one-color skins (Pip-Boy, Amber, Game Boy, Matrix and the rest) in their colors. - Docs: a touch map of the clock screen (#287, thanks, Matthias84), and LibreEcho in the comparison (#292, thanks, aslater3).
