A fix for Bluetooth volume, a switch to keep the device's own volume, and more kinds of custom wake words.
- Bluetooth volume follows your phone again. Since v1.4.0, a phone or computer playing over Bluetooth set the device's volume once, from the level it had when it connected, and moves of its volume slider after that were ignored. A computer that connects at full volume (common on Linux) pushed the device to 100% and left it there (#245). The device now follows the slider as it moves.
- Bluetooth sets the volume (#245): a new switch, on by default. Turn it off and the device keeps its own volume; a phone's or computer's slider then only turns its own sound down. In Home Assistant and on the setup page under Bluetooth. Thanks, tUDy-or-else.
- More custom wake word models run (#244): models trained with residual connections or pooling (ADD, AVERAGE_POOL_2D, MAX_POOL_2D) used to be refused; they now run. A custom model that loads but can't run is now refused when you add it, with the reason. Thanks, ZiraiMode.
- Show 8 2nd gen: the JD9365 screen with KD/HSD glass is now a tested screen, so the installer takes it without
--force-panel(#187). Thanks, davidanthoff, rcbadiale and paolofaz. - Camera: turning SSH on while the camera was in use no longer leaves the camera held by the SSH server. Thanks, fred0.
