Skins, three new clocks, timer styles, new turn screens, a cue light, and Tessera screens.
- Skins (Settings > Display > Look, or Screen skin in Home Assistant). A whole look over the theme and font, on every screen: Pip-Boy and Amber terminal (phosphor green or amber with scanlines), LCARS (the console's colors and frame around the clock), E-ink, Blueprint, Game Boy, Matrix, Synthwave and HAL 9000. The red night clock and the red marks (microphone off, Talk) keep their red. Choose None to go back to your theme and font. docs/setup.md
- Three clock styles: Nixie (glowing tubes), Stack (hours over minutes) and Overlap (large overlapping figures).
- Timer styles for running timers on the clock: Line (as before), Ring, Corner, Banner or Big. On the Analog clock, Ring also draws the soonest timer as a wedge on the dial.
- Turn screens: VU meters, Orb and HAL 9000 beside Wave and Bars. Two more leave the screen as it is during a request (#197): Cue light shows it as a light along the top edge, and Cue and captions adds what was heard and the answer at the bottom.
- Tessera screens (preview, #201). With the Tessera screen switch on, the Show is a screen for the Tessera add-on: lay out pages in its editor and the Show draws them, with taps going to Home Assistant, sliders, and a hold opening the light, climate and media controls. Unlocking a lock or opening a garage door takes a second tap. On the Show and the Skylight. docs/dashboards.md
- Portuguese as a screen language (#208). Thanks, felipewilliam2.
- Now Playing puts itself away after music has been paused for 30 seconds (#150). The track stays, so play still picks it up.
- Bluetooth phones take the speaker by what they play, not when their audio opens, so a browser or a click no longer takes it (#181). Thanks, tibole.
- Show 8 2nd gen: Speaker gain now works on it (techo5-athena#2), and touch works on units whose touch controller goes by another name (#203). Thanks, davidanthoff.
- Camera, calendar and PIN controls are drawn as the same buttons as everywhere else (#209). Thanks, christianschmidt.
- A replaced custom wake word file in Home Assistant is now fetched and used without choosing another word first.
- A photo folder that can't be opened says why (#207). The docs now say Home Assistant's own calendars can be shown (#202) and that any address the device can reach works for Home Assistant (#198).
- The assistant's web lookups give better answers, and an optional page reader can read pages that fill themselves in with scripts.
