- A darker screen in a dark room, and a Dimmest setting. Auto-brightness now treats 2 lux and below as dark and holds the screen at its dimmest there, instead of a tenth of its brightness or more above it. Dimmest sets how dim that is, 1 to 50% of Brightness, 12% by default: on the Show under Settings, Display, below Auto-brightness, and in Home Assistant. The lowest backlight is now 4 of 255, the same as Fire OS. Thanks for the measurements and the stock curve, oni0n. (#78)
- Auto-brightness finishes its change after the room's light changes, instead of stopping partway when the sensor goes quiet. Thanks, Uthrom. (#73)
- The light before an alarm rises. The screen's sunrise stayed at its starting level until the alarm; it now brightens through the whole window and returns to the screen's own level afterward.
- Adding a Show to Home Assistant by its address now asks for the encryption key, instead of failing with a message about an api section in the YAML. (techo5-spot#3)
