What's New

  • Added tooltip texts to the Back, Menu and Sidebar buttons on the top bar.

  • Updated dependencies to the latest versions.

  • In the BitLocker Management page, after successfully creating a backup of recovery codes for your encrypted volumes, there will no longer still be a warning in the Defender's GUI reminding you to backup your recovery codes again. The reason the warning is normally displayed is because Microsoft Defender does not detect that you've already made a successful backup of your BitLocker recovery keys via the Harden System Security app so that warning could be misleading/annoying, now it's automatically dismissed after a successful backup.

  • In the Firewall Management page, added 6 new features under a new "Extras" button. Except for the 2 export options, the rest display a confirmation dialog before proceeding with the action to prevent accidental clicks/taps. The new features are:

    • Export Local Rules: Back up your current local firewall configuration to a .wfw file for safekeeping or migration.

    • Export GPO Rules: Export firewall rules enforced by Group Policy Objects to a file for backup.

    • Import Local Rules: Restore a previously saved configuration to your local firewall policy (replaces existing rules).

    • Import GPO Rules: Load a saved configuration into the Group Policy firewall store (replaces existing rules).

    • Restore Defaults: Reset the local firewall configuration to the original Windows default state, removing all custom rules.

    • Delete All Rules: Completely wipe the local firewall policy, removing every rule including the default OS rules.

  • Added a new tile to the Home page where you can view the total count of the USB devices that have been ever connected to your device. By clicking/tapping on this new tile, you will be presented with a list that shows details of each USB device. Useful for forensic purposes.
