FileView 3.1 renders Markdown and SVG files in the preview, and fixes tree search, bookmark jumps, and text detection that did not work from the keyboard.

Added

• Markdown files are previewed rendered when the preview pane is at least 80 columns wide, such as in fullscreen preview or on a large terminal. Narrower panes keep the raw source view.
• SVG files are previewed as images. They are rasterized with resvg without text support, so text inside an SVG is not drawn. The new svg feature is on by default, and building without it previews SVG files as XML source and makes the binary about 400 KB smaller.

Fixed

• Pressing / opens the tree search again. A lone / was read as dropping the filesystem root onto the window, so search never started.
• Bookmark jumps with ' followed by a digit work again. The ' was swallowed by the same drop detection.
• Pressing Enter in the tree search now jumps to the first match and returns to browsing, so n and N move between matches instead of being typed into the query.
• Text files with extensions that FileView does not know, such as .csv, .svg, and .tf, are previewed as text instead of a hex dump.
• The selected row in the fuzzy finder uses the theme's selection color, so it stays readable on themes with a light blue such as Catppuccin.

Changed

• The published crate contains only the sources, tests, README, license, and manifest. Docs, demos, and their GIFs stay in the repository, so the crate that cargo install downloads is about 330 KB instead of about 1 MB for 3.0.0.
• Dependencies are refreshed. This includes the fix for RUSTSEC-2026-0385 in ctutils, which zip pulls in, and replaces the yanked clipboard-win 5.4.1 used on Windows.
• Release binaries are built with Rust 1.99.1. The minimum supported Rust version stays at 1.90.0.
• The README and the keybinding guide show new demo recordings for previews, Markdown, search, Git, file operations, and navigation, recorded with a larger sample project.
