All releases are mostly development versions. They can be used, but may contain confusing or unnecessary settings. Settings may be removed or reset on updates. Consider all releases as beta quality at best.
Changes since v14.1:
- slightly tune glide typing suggestions
- fix some bugs (#305, #309, #310)
- use visual insets instead of spacers for edge keys (#308, #294)
- faster keyboard loading on start and after theme changes
- finish transition of keyboard layouts to the new parser
- fix a bunch of issues / inconsistencies
- there are some remaining differences to the old parser (likely will not be changed)
- long-press popups for Nepali, Bangla, and Hindi layouts may have additional keys
- long-press hint labels for Nepali, Bangla, Khmer and Urdu might be missing or different
- a setting to change source of the hint labels has been added in case you miss the labels
- currency key popups may be slightly different
- symbols layout is now the same for Arabic, Urdu and Persian, and slightly different from old one
- layouts that had very narrow shift and delete keys will have increased width of these keys
- PC layout uses default functional key layout
- tablet
- all layouts have two shift keys or none
- all layouts have the added
!and?keys - layouts with 4 rows have the same basic layout as for phones
- no additional popup keys for the comma key
- please report issues you have with the new parser, in v16 or v17 the old parser will be removed and you will not be able to switch back
