The third beta of HAGHS v2.4.0. It brings the dashboard cards up to date with everything v2.4 reports, so you can check the new zombie reasons right on your dashboard. Full details: v2.4.0_CHANGELOG.md.

What's New

• Dashboard cards v1.4 (Lite and Pro, README). Copy the new YAML into your dashboard to get:
  • Pro: each zombie with its reason and how long it has been unavailable, counts by reason and by integration, and the hint that a zombie is an availability signal, not a deletion list (only config entry missing is a strong hint of an orphaned entity); a link from every dead or empty device to its own device page and from every unregistered entity to its more-info dialog; a new Stale Reporting card; status lines when a pillar used its fallback, the update cycle failed or the conditional ignore labels are active; a link to the backups page when the backup is stale.
  • Lite: zombies by reason, the calculation status lines and the backup link.
  • Older HAGHS versions keep working with the new cards; the new parts simply stay hidden.
• Device ids for the card links: new attributes dead_device_ids and empty_device_ids, in the same order as dead_devices and empty_devices (#172). Score and every existing attribute are unchanged.

Documentation and Infrastructure

• The cards were checked in a browser on a Home Assistant test instance: every link was clicked and its target page verified.
• The release notes' thank-you list no longer names the maintainer or coding agents (#171).

Please Test

• Zombie reasons on the card: does the reason next to each zombie match what you see on its integration page? Is "for …" plausible?
• Device links: do the dead and empty device links open the right device?
• Status lines: if you use conditional ignore labels, does the 🏖️ line appear while your helper is on?

How to get the beta in HACS: open HACS, open HAGHS, three-dot menu, Redownload, enable Show beta versions, select v2.4.0b3, download and restart Home Assistant. Then paste the v1.4 card YAML from the README into your dashboard.
